Short (but kinda cheeky as it turns out given the Trump steel and aluminum tariffs) quote here in this NYT article looking at the dynamics of cross-border online shopping.
Any change in shopping behaviour can be attributed to a mix of factors, both structural (more eCommerce options available to Canadians, more choice, Black Friday is a thing now in Canada) and episodic (exchange rate, political rhetoric) but when 87% of Canadians tell us in a Leger Survey (see https://lnkd.in/eJ_ND99) that it's important to spend their shopping dollar in Canada that stood out for sure.
