Associates as Micro-Influencers

Macy's took over the Shoptalk keynote stage Sunday to share the work they are doing in the digital realm. Macy's has done some innovative work around using their employees as micro-influencers, hosting a platform to enable a savvy approach to leveraging their engaged associates incorporating compensation based on product sales attributed to their influence.

Join me on the stage at RCC's Retail Marketing conference April 18 in Toronto as I host a session on influencer marketing ( along with Jonathan Cavaliere to discuss tradecraft and how retailers can best work with influencers.

Oh, and apparently mobile phones are now important.
